BUILT FOR THE CROWD

Over a decade in East Africa’s entertainment scene will teach you a few things. Kronikx learned how to read the energy, how to build a night from the first record to the last, and how to turn an event into an experience.

He’s a Nairobi-based DJ and entrepreneur, and co-owner of two of the platforms shaping the region’s nightlife: We Outside EA and Dusk Till Dawn. Both have brought internationally acclaimed acts to East African stages, including R&B icon Joe, South African group Mi Casa, and Scotts Maphuma.

Behind the decks, Kronikx is an open-format DJ known for high-energy sets that move between Afrobeats, Amapiano, R&B, Kenyan music, Hip-Hop and global sounds. Whether it’s a premium nightlife event or a large-scale lifestyle festival, he builds the set around the crowd.
